How to Book the Irish Function Room for a Birthday Party

You can book the Irish function room at Little Island in Frydek-Mistek with a single phone call to +420 775 354 883. It holds up to 40 guests, has space for a DJ or a band, and suits birthdays, anniversaries and other private celebrations.

What does the function room offer?

The room is a separate part of the pub in the style of a genuine Irish "snug": privacy for your party, with the atmosphere of a lively pub just beyond the door:

  • Capacity of up to 40 guests
  • Space for a DJ or a live band; you are welcome to bring your own music
  • The full bar menu: Guinness and Magners on tap, more than 50 whiskeys
  • The kitchen will take care of food for the whole party

We recommend booking at least two weeks ahead; the popular Friday and Saturday dates fill up fastest.

When can a party be held?

Go by our opening hours: Monday to Thursday 2pm to 11pm, Friday 2pm to 4am, Saturday 4pm to 4am, closed on Sundays. For a birthday party that is meant to run long, Friday or Saturday is ideal; you can happily celebrate until four in the morning. Just bear in mind that on Fridays and Saturdays live music plays in the main part of the pub from 8pm, which usually only adds to the fun.

Who is the function room for?

Besides birthdays, our guests book it for anniversaries, school reunions, stag and hen dos and smaller family gatherings. Forty seats cover most private events, and the Irish setting gives a celebration an atmosphere you won't find in an ordinary restaurant.
