Where to Go for a Pint and a Night Out in Frydek-Mistek

Where to go in Frydek-Mistek of an evening? For a good pint, live music and a programme that runs until morning, the most reliable road leads to the Irish pub Little Island at tr. T. G. Masaryka 1129, with live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 8pm and doors open until 4am.

What can you expect from a night out in Frydek-Mistek?

Frydek-Mistek is a twin town of sixty thousand with a pub tradition on both banks of the Ostravice. You will find classic Czech pubs, beer halls with regional brews, and venues with their own programmes. Most of them, however, close between 10pm and 11pm, and that is exactly when it gets decided where the night will really end.

What sets the Irish pub apart?

Little Island has been going in Frydek-Mistek since July 2009 and offers what an ordinary pub can't:

  • Guinness and Magners on tap - Irish stout and cider, poured the way they should be
  • More than 50 whiskeys - the biggest selection for miles around, from Irish classics to Scottish single malts
  • Live music every Friday and Saturday from 8pm
  • Sports broadcasts - football, rugby and more
  • An interior inspired by genuine Irish pubs - dark wood and cosy corners instead of formica

When to head out where?

  • Monday to Thursday - quieter evenings for a pint and a whiskey; Little Island is open 2pm to 11pm
  • Friday - the main night of the week: live music from 8pm, open 2pm to 4am
  • Saturday - open 4pm to 4am, again with a band from 8pm
  • Sunday - we are closed; a day to recover

A tip for a planned event

If you are heading out with a group of friends or your company rather than on your own, you can book the Irish function room at Little Island for up to 40 guests, with space for a DJ or a band. Bookings by phone on +420 775 354 883.

Wherever your evening in Frydek-Mistek begins, you can end it with us, where on Fridays and Saturdays the Guinness flows until four in the morning.
