An Office Party in an Irish Pub: Why It Works
An office party in an Irish pub works because the pub naturally breaks down barriers: an informal setting, shared toasts and music will loosen up even colleagues who otherwise barely exchange two sentences. At Little Island in Frydek-Mistek you have a function room for up to 40 people to go with it.
Why an Irish pub in particular?
Irish pub culture is built on conversation. No seating plans, no formalities; people mingle naturally at the bar, at the table and around the music. For team building it is the ideal environment:
- The informal atmosphere puts newcomers and introverts at ease
- A shared round of Guinness is a faster icebreaker than any game
- A tasting from our list of more than 50 whiskeys makes a ready-made programme for the evening
What does Little Island offer companies?
- The Irish function room for up to 40 guests - privacy for your company, separate from the regular pub
- Space for a DJ or a band - bring your own music, or join our live acts (Fridays and Saturdays from 8pm)
- The kitchen - we will arrange food to suit your headcount and budget
- Open until morning - until 4am on Fridays and 4am on Saturdays; the party doesn't have to end at ten
When should you plan the party?
On weekdays (Monday to Thursday) we are open 2pm to 11pm, well suited to a smaller gathering with an earlier finish. For a big Christmas party, go for Friday or Saturday. We recommend booking December dates as early as October; they are among the most sought-after of the year.
How do you sort out the booking?
Just call +420 775 354 883. We will agree the date, number of guests, food and any music. No complicated enquiry forms; we are a pub, not a conference centre.
